Membership Terms & Conditions
a) Application and Requirements
i) Upon completion of member application, submission of required documentation and annual
membership dues, membership is a 1 year term.
ii) AMOS members have no financial obligation to the organization other than to pay annual
membership dues in a timely manner. Fees may vary from year to year.
iii) Any member who is sixty (60) days or more in arrears in the payment of annual dues shall be
deemed to be no longer in good standing. All rights and privileges of that member shall be
suspended until dues obligations are met. Any member more than one hundred twenty
(120) days in arrears in the payment of annual dues shall be removed from the membership
roll.
iv) Should additional educational for training arise that requires a fee, members will be
informed of any related fees, and the choice lies with the individual member whether to
participate in the initiative and pay the associated fee.
b) Member Expectations
i) As a not-for- profit and educational organization, AMOS expects that members will maintain
the highest ethical standards regarding their involvement in AMOS. Member involvement
shall perpetuate AMOS’ mission: to create a multi-disciplinary forum for surgeons to
facilitate discussion and advances in microsurgical and orthoplastic techniques to improve
and enhance patient care and outcomes.
ii) Membership shall not imply any personal or financial gain for any individual member. Any
AMOS resources, including financial, intellectual property, and membership contacts, should not
be used for personal use or for benefit outside the organization without thorough consult and
approval of the Board of Directors.
